Biography

Biography/General:
Stewart Hall was born in Australia, he has lived in Paris and London for several years, and currently resides in Munich.
The themes of his work centre around The Human Condition and Temporality. Hall's work is a continual investigation into the human form, whether it be abstracted or in a more recognisable form. Hall strives to find the space between the recognisable and unrecognisable forms.

More recently he has been exploring the space between the Tangible and Intangible aspects of painting and image making. This ongoing investigation aims to invoke a sense of something other than the literal, which in turn can enable the viewer greater visual autonomy.
