Jan Schünke lives and works in Munich and partly in New York. He received an SLR camera from his father when he turned 14, since then photography is his thing. He is a seasoned and experienced traveller, fascinated by the diversity of culture and nature, which informs his perspective for his photography. From Sydney to Tokyo and Vancouver, Jan has wandered and photographed all over the globe.

His photography shows the influence of humans on nature and vice versa.

"I am fascinated by the power of mankind, nature and time; it is a combination that brings change and sometimes it takes control."
